Trump lands endorsement from another high-profile former Democrat
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — You might be asking yourself how many more former Democrats will be joining force with GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Just days after securing the endorsement of Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Trump brought Tulsi Gabbard to the stage at the National Guard conference in Detroit on Monday.
Gabbard, also an Independent, is a former congresswoman from Hawaii. She served from 2013-2021, but announced her exit from the party in 2022. Gabbard once referred to Hillary Clinton as the ’embodiment of corruption.’
Gabbard has also described today’s Democrat Party as an ‘elitist cabal of warmongers.’
FOX News reports Gabbard was recruited by Trump for debate prep ahead of the upcoming presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris on September 10.
Since the 2022 midterms, Gabbard’s criticism of the Democrat Party has ramped up, including numerous appearances at conservative events like the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
