Two additional coronavirus cases reported in Cibolo; possible exposure at Cibolo Walmart

CONVERSE, Tex. (KTSA News) — The City of Cibolo announced Thursday afternoon two additional cases of COVID-19 coronavirus, bringing the city’s total to three cases.

The city was notified of the cases by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Both patients are experiencing mild symptoms and are under quarantine in their homes.

One case was determined to be travel related, the other still undetermined.

The city said it is possible people who went to the Walmart on Cibolo Valley Drive between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on March 19th may have been exposed to the virus.

The risk of contracting the virus from these exposures is low.  If you think you may have been exposed, monitor yourself for symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat and shortness of breath for 14 days after the exposure.  If you do have any of those symptoms and do not need urgent medical attention, stay isolated at home and contact your healthcare provider.
