Two arrested on sex trafficking charges at San Antonio motel, victims say they were forced to provide sex services up to 20 hours a day
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Two illegal immigrants from Venezuela have been arrested on sex trafficking charges after they were busted at a San Antonio motel.
Homeland Security Investigations posted on X that they, along with the San Antonio Police Department broke up the operation Monday.
An undercover officer found two victims, also from Venezuela, as the departments were investigating an online ad for sex at a motel on San Pedro Boulevard.
The two women told investigators that they were being threatened with violence if they failed to perform sexual acts, sometimes for 20 hours a day.
Officials arrested two people, who reportedly admitted to the crime.
They’re facing 15 to life in prison and $250,000 in fines for charges of Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud, or Coercion.
