Two family members shot during home invasion

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A woman and her son are recovering from the gunshot wounds they received during a home invasion on the city’s West Side.
A man broke into their home in the 3200 block of West Salinas at around 4 A.M. Thursday.
The 56 year old woman was shot in one of her legs while her 20 year old son was hit in the chest and one of his legs. They are being treated at University Hospital.
Police are talking to neighbors to see if any of them witnessed the break-in.
