Two stolen SUV crashes leave two young people dead

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Police say two crashes involving stolen cars have left two young men dead.

The most recent occurred just after 11 Sunday morning when the driver of a stolen SUV trying to evade police crashed into a building on Roosevelt Avenue in the city’s South Side.

One young man in his teens or early 20’s was ejected in the accident and pronounced dead on the scene.

The other deadly crash happened around 4:45 a.m. in the Northwest side.

Police say 8 people were in a stolen SUV that slammed into a wall and overturned on IH 10 near La Cantera Parkway.

A 15-year-old passenger was pronounced dead on the scene. Seven others were taken to University Hospital.
