Two students at San Antonio’s Johnson High School killed in crash near the school’s entrance

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Johnson High School is reporting the deaths of two students who were killed in a fiery crash near the school Saturday afternoon.

It was just before 4 P.M. when two vehicles driven by the students, collided on Bulverde Road near TPC Parkway.

Both vehicles burst into flames with the students trapped inside.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their names and ages haven’t been released.

Johnson High School Principal Gary Comalander sent a letter to students and staff announcing the deaths.

In the letter, he shared that counselors will be on hand in the school’s library beginning at 8 A.M. Monday to assist any student needing support.

Police are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
