Two teens arrested, woman hospitalized following drive-by in Seguin

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Two teenagers have been arrested in a drive-by shooting in Seguin.

Police say they were called to a home in the 500 block of Mitchel Avenue early Saturday morning where a 57 year old woman had been shot in the abdomen.

Police were told the shooters were in a dark colored sedan.

Officers began searching for the vehicle immediately and located it a short time later.

They stopped the car and arrested two people, 17 year old Pablo Salaz and 18 year old Luis Leandro. They are both Seguin residents and have been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. They’re both being held at the Guadalupe County Jail with bail set at $750,000 each.

The woman who was shot was brought to SAMMC and is recovering. Other people who were in the home with her were not hurt.

There’s been no word of a motive for the shooting and the case is still under investigation.
