SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Two people involved in a high speed chase Tuesday in New Braunfels will be facing charges.

New Braunfels police said the chase started when they got a report of a female being forced by a male into a car in the area of FM 725 and County Line Road Tuesday afternoon.

Officers got there and saw a car that looked like the suspect vehicle.  They tried to stop the car, but the driver instead tried speeding away.

An officer would eventually shoot out a tire, ending the pursuit.

It turns out all three people knew each other and it was a verbal argument between the two suspects outside a house in the Dove Crossing neighborhood.

The driver, 18-year-old Madison Munoz of Katy, was arrested for felony evading arrest.

One of her passengers, a 16-year-old boy from San Antonio, was wanted out of Bexar County for evading arrest.

Both suffered minor injuries and both have been released to police custody.

The other passenger, a 14-year-old girl from San Antonio, was not hurt and no charges are expected to be filed against her.
