TXDOT Meeting Focuses on NE Side Improvements

With more and more people living and traveling through the northeast portion of Bexar County, the Texas Department of Transportation is looking to make some improvements to a very busy roadway.

They’re holding an open house tonight to discuss a plan for Loop 1604. They want to expand it to a 4 lane highway form I-35 to FM 78 in Universal City.

The plan also looks to continue the frontage roads, reconfigure some of the ramps and rebuild the bridge at 1604 and Pat Booker Road.

If you wan tto see what TXDOT has in mind and offer some suggestions of your own, stop by Tuesday’s open house.

It starts at 5:30 at Kitty Hawk Middle School in Universal City.
