TxDOT: Nightly closures ongoing on Loop 1604 near Blanco Road

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will close the Loop 1604 westbound mainlanes from the Blanco Road exit ramp to the Blanco Road entrance ramp for deck pour at the Panther Springs Creek Bridge. Crews will also be setting girders on the braided ramp bridge.

The closure will occur nightly beginning 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 until Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, weather permitting. Off-duty officers will direct traffic through intersections, as needed.

DETOUR INFORMATION

Loop 1604 WB mainlane traffic will exit via the Blanco Road exit ramp and continue on the WB frontage road through the intersection of Blanco Road. Traffic can re-enter the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes via the entrance ramp west of Blanco Road.

Loop 1604 EB mainlane traffic will exit via the Blanco Road exit ramp and continue on the EB frontage road through the intersection of Blanco Road. Traffic can re-enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes via the entrance ramp east of Blanco Road.

All closures are weather permitting and subject to change.
