TxDOT: Nightly lane closures planned for IH-35 North between Schertz Parkway at FM 3009

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Some major disruptions are coming to traffic on the Northeast Side.
TxDOT says beginning Wednesday, nightly closures of the Northbound lanes of IH-35 between Schertz Parkway at FM 3009 will be taking place.
The closures are so crews can continue work on the I-35 Northeast Expansion Project.
The Northbound lanes of 35 will be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday October 9 through Tuesday, October 15.
Motorists will be pushed onto the access road so you can expect delays.
Detour signs will be in place to help drivers get through the closure.
The closure is subject to change and weather permitting.
