TxDOT schedules major highway closure in Northeast Bexar County this weekend

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Heads up if you’re going to be traveling on the Northeast side.
A section of a major highway in Bexar County will be closed this weekend.
TxDOT says there will be a full closure of I-10 Eastbound and Westbound between FM 1518 to FM 1516.
Crews are going to be doing some work on a bridge in that area and traffic will be redirected to the access roads.
That’s going to mean some long delays for motorists so TxDOT is suggesting you look for an alternate route.
The closure will start Friday night at 8 P.M. and the highway will reopen Monday at 5 A.M.
