UCLA gymnast scores perfect 10, floor routine video goes viral

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A UCLA gymnast’s floor routine is going viral.  Katelyn Ohashi scored a perfect 10 last weekend at a competition in Anaheim, and now the video of her performance has  been viewed more than 16 million times on Twitter.

Ohashi says her floor routine is her party time.

“It shows the fun side of gymnastics, which has been  mostly left out,” she said.

Ohashi won the 2013 American Cup when she was 16 years old.   After her win, she underwent shoulder surgery and back surgery.   She wasn’t sure she’d be able to compete again.

Ohashi enrolled at UCLA , joined the gymnastics team and says she’s having the time of her life. See for yourself.
