SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An unidentified man has been found dead in an Atascosa County field.

The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office said the body was found at around 4 p.m. Monday in a pasture by the property owner just south of Jourdanton along State Highway 16.

The sheriff’s office describes the decedent as a white male in his early to mid 30s with red hair and full beard, weighed about 170 pounds and stood about six feet tall.  The man had a very distinctive tattoo on his left bicep described as a landscape of mountains and trees.

Investigators have not been able to find any identification for this man and are looking for the public’s help in figuring out who he is.

He was sent to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
