SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A third grade student at Flores Elementary School in Uvalde won’t be in class for a while.

They’re in trouble for bringing a BB gun to school.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District reports the student was waiting for the school bus to take them home, when they pulled the BB gun out of their backpack, and pointed it another student.

The BB gun was not loaded and it belongs to the student’s brother.

The district didn’t go into details about repercussions the student is facing, only stating they will not be at school.

No injuries were reported and no names have been released.

The investigation continues.
