VIA outlines Fiesta transit service (free Fiesta medal included)

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — VIA Metropolitan Transit announced ride service plans during the Fiesta 2022 celebration.

VIA announced that special services will be available from April 1 through April 9 and riders will get a free Fiesta Medal while supplies last.

The transit service said the Fiesta Park & Ride fare is $2.50 each way and there are discounts available for children, seniors, students and active-duty military members.

    • Friday, April 1, 4:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. – Crossroads Park & Ride
    • Saturday, April 2, 11:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. – Crossroads Park & Ride
    • Drop-off/pick-up point – Camino Santa Maria at Cincinnati Avenue
  • A Taste of New Orleans (Sunken Garden Theater)

VIA also announced that riders heading to the Oyster Bake and A Taste of New Orleans at St. Mary’s University or the Sunken Garden Theater will be gifted with a coupon for a free soft drink.
