Victim tells San Antonio police he rode home in a bus after getting shot near Downtown

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man who claims he was shot at a bus stop in downtown San Antonio is recovering.

Police say the victim called them from his apartment on Marshall Street at around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

He tells officers he was at the VIA Transit Center at North Frio and Houston when he was shot in the groin.

The victim says he then got on a bus and rode home before calling for help.

Police have not released the man’s name and a description of whoever shot him hasn’t been provided.
