Walmart stores to offer free health screenings this Saturday

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Walmart is offering free health screenings this weekend. Saturday, July 23 is Wellness Day at more than 4600 Walmart pharmacies across the country.

During the event they will offer:

Free health screenings, including glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index and vision screenings (select locations)

Affordable immunizations, including pneumonia, tetanus, HPV, measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox/shingles), whooping cough (TDAP), Hep A & B and more

No-cost to patient COVID-19 vaccines

Wellness resources and the opportunity to talk with pharmacists

Select stores will also feature vision screenings

Walmart hopes the screenings will encourage customers to get healthy and improve their lifestyles.

The Wellness Day event is from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.
