Weekend projects to impact Loop 410 traffic in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A couple of weekend projects will impact traffic on Loop 410 this weekend.

Starting at 6 AM Sunday, CPS Energy crews and contractors will be at Loop 410 near E. Southcross Rd. and Loop 410 at Airlift.

The projects are being done to improve service in the area and crews are going to be running overhead electric lines across 410.

This means some temporary lane closures for drivers traveling in both directions near.

Lane closures will be alternating and are expected to last 15-20 minutes each so find alternate routes to avoid traffic delays.

CPS says they aren’t expecting residential or commercial power interruptions in the area while the work is being done.

The utility says they should have the work done by 3 PM on Sunday.
