Whataburger announces new “Limited Batch” ketchup

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — It’s quite possible that only Whataburger could draw in customers with a limited batch of a condiment.

The San Antonio based burger chain has announced they are going to offer their new “Spicy Ketchup Limited Batch #2” for a limited time.

It’s unique flavor comes from a combination of of Whataburger’s signature Fancy Ketchup along with a blend of signature spices and a hot sauce made from arbol and piquin peppers.

“As much as our customers love Whataburger Spicy Ketchup, we thought we’d treat them to a new limited-batch ketchup with a spicier, more complex taste,” said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Whataburger Spicy Ketchup Limited Batch #2 delivers on our commitment to serve big flavor and original recipes with limited-time offers that keep it fresh!”

Now, if you’re not one to consume ketchup (they’re out there), Whataburger is bringing back some other limited time items that you may miss.

They are the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich and the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Salad, the Whataburger Breakfast Burger and the Dr. Pepper shake.

The restaurant reminds you that those items are only going to be on the menu for a limited time.
