Woman at AOC event claims “eating babies” will stop climate change

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Some unusual climate change solutions have been presented over the years.

Everything from planting fake trees to feeding Maalox to cows.

But a new suggestion has been delivered, courtesy of a woman at a Town Hall meeting in New York.

It happened at the Queens Public Library in Corona, New York, where Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was going over the Green New Deal. That’s her plan to combat climate change.

As the question and answer period was coming to an end, the microphone was placed in front of a “constituent”  who stated that “we’re not going to be here much longer” and “we only have a few months left” .

The woman said that she loves that AOC supports the Green New Deal but stopping the use of fossil fuel wasn’t a fast enough solution to the problem.

Her suggestion to speed things along?

Eat the babies.

That’s right. The woman recommended we get all Sand Tiger Shark and dine on the newly born.

The woman was even wearing a t-shirt with the words “Save the Planet, Eat the Children” displayed on the front and told AOC it should be her next campaign slogan.

The others in attendance were taken aback at the idea of eating babies but the woman didn’t back down.

“All of you! You’re a pollutant! Too much Co2. We have to start now. Please! You are so great. I’m so happy that you are supporting a Green New Deal, but it’s not enough. Even if we were to bomb Russia, it’s not enough. There’s too many people, too much pollution. So, we have to get rid of the babies. That’s a big problem. Just stopping having babies just isn’t enough. We need to eat the babies.”

AOC staff members tried to get the woman to stop talking but she continued her plea even after the microphone was taken from her.

The Congresswoman remained calm at attempted to change the mood in the room before bringing the town hall to an end.

It didn’t take long for the video of the exchange to go viral and users of social media had plenty to say about the bizarre episode.

Including President Trump. He AOC a “Whack job” on his Twitter account.

Donald Trump Jr. said the woman seemed like a “typical AOC supporter” to him.

The Congresswoman asked her Twitter followers to have compassion for the potentially ill woman.

Then there are those who believe the woman was sent by Republicans to make a mockery of AOC’s climate change efforts.
