Woman chases armed robbers, gets shot at near San Antonio International Airport

BEXAR COUNTY, Tex. (KTSA News) — San Antonio police are investigating an armed robbery and shooting near the San Antonio International Airport.

San Antonio police say officers were sent to the area of U.S. 281 and Nakoma at around 8:40 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a shooting and then calls about a robbery involving a gun.

The 25-year-old female victim told officers two men — one 24 years old, the other 21 — approached her and demanded her stuff.  After taking those undisclosed items, the two men began running from the scene with the woman following them.

During that chase, the suspects shot multiple times in the direction of the pursuing victim.

Those two men were arrested by police and were found with items matching those the woman said were taken.

The investigation is ongoing.
