Woman escapes burning home on San Antonio’s Northside

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A woman managed to escape as a fire burned through her home.

Crews were called to the home on Edison Drive at around 3 A.M. Monday. They spotted flames shooting from the front of the building when they arrived. It didn’t take long to extinguish the flames but a section of the home did suffer some heavy damage.

The woman who lives there wasn’t hurt and she will be set up in temporary housing while repairs are done to her home.

It appears a faulty power outlet was the cause.
