Woman in wheelchair claims to be blind, tries to lure student to pickup truck

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Police are investigating a possible attempted kidnapping near a local high school.

A student at the downtown Fox Tech campus claims a woman in a wheelchair who said she was blind asked for help crossing the street after school Wednesday. The student helped her, but then the woman tried to get her to go to a truck with two males inside.

A letter sent to parents states that made the student uncomfortable, so the student left, but saw the woman in the wheelchair get up and walk to the truck on her own.

Students who were outside waiting to be picked up were told to go inside the facility, which houses Fox Tech High School, the Advanced Learning Academy, and CAST Tech High School.
