Woman killed in drive-by shooting at Northeast Side apartment complex

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – The victim’s husband told police that he and his wife were sitting in their car in the parking garage of their Northeast Side apartment around 2:30 Sunday morning when someone in a black BMW opened fire.

Twenty-nine-year-old Shaniqua Brown was killed, and the search continues for the suspects. Her husband was not injured.

Sunday evening, flower arrangements and flickering candles adorned the parking space where Brown was killed at the Merida Apartment Homes on Loop 410 near Starcrest.
