Woman shoots video of her own mask meltdown at Texas H-E-B after being ‘harassed’

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A woman identified as Katie Bug went live on Facebook after she was refused service at an H-E-B store in Cedar Park because she wasn’t wearing a mask.

“H-E-B won’t let me check out because I complained that a customer was harassing me for not wearing a mask,” she said while sobbing.

Bug claims she can’t use a mask because she suffers from PTSD and anxiety. Bug says when she complained to the manager about being harassed by a customer, they refused to allow her to check out.

“They won’t service me.  The lady walked away,” Bug cried.

Bug, who was wearing a T-shirt with the words ,”Shed the Mask,” vowed to complain to corporate.

“It’s like (there’s) no compassion left in this world. Nobody’s asking me if I’m okay,” Bug said as she looked around and sobbed loudly. “Nobody gives a care.”

In a follow- up Facebook post, Bug said another manager came and allowed her to check out her items.
