Youth Coach Accused of Child Sex Assault

Are there any more victims out there?

A question the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is trying to answer after the Saturday arrest of a youth league coach who is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl.

“She said she had been sexually assaulted by Jefffrey Ramos last summer through the end of the year” James Keith with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office told KTSA News, calling the girl’s decision to come forward brave.

“It’s hard enough to make a complaint, or make an outcry when you’re the victim of a crime like this–but, to have that bravery, and that courage to speak up on behalf of other potential victims, we’re happy to see that” Keith said.

Now, the focus turns to finding anyone else who may have been victimized by Ramos.

“Ramos was a coach with a Catholic youth organization at the time of this event. We need to make sure there are no other victims out there” Keith said.
