UNDATED (AP) – Here’s a career move Mason Ramsey probably never expected: emerging from a cow’s rear end and yodeling about methane.

Ramsey sings in a video produced by Burger King about the company’s new initiative to add lemon grass to the diet of cattle to limit the amount of methane the animals contribute to greenhouse gases through flatulence.

By tweaking their diet, Burger King said Tuesday that it believes it can reduce a cows’ daily methane emissions by about 33%.

Methane emissions from livestock comprised more than a quarter of the emissions from the agriculture sector. With an over-the-top social media campaign that teeters between vulgarity and science, Burger King is banking on the heightened awareness of climate change and its responsibility to limit its own role.

Ramsey who is 13 years old says he’s excited to be “the voice of all the young folks who’re excited to create a better future.”
