I’ve been around so long, that I remember those days when it was a very liberal thing to cry out for a “national conversation” about hot button issues.

People would nod emphatically and wear their furrowed brows of concern, as they feigned listening to opposing points of view. Ahh, good times.

Back in the day, if you didn’t like an app, you didn’t download it. Today, you demand its immediate removal from the app stores, or else!

The toddleresque hissy fit going on over Twitter right now tells us how it really works in 2022: no, conservatives, you may not have your own version of Twitter, nor may you legit purchase and operate the actual Twitter. Don’t build your own, don’t sully ours.
