4 year old killed in rollover crash in Boerne
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police are investigating a fatal crash in Boerne that claimed the life of a 4 year old child.
Police say it happened at around 2 P.M. Monday in the Eastbound lane of I-10 near Johns Road.
A woman lost control of her SUV and it rolled several times before coming to rest on side of the highway.
3 children, an infant, a two year old and a four year old were all ejected from the vehicle.
The 4 year old was pronounced dead at the scene while the woman and the other two children were brought to University Hospital. There’s been no update on their conditions.
Police say it appears the children were not properly restrained in their safety seats.
No word on whether or not the driver will face any charges.
The crash closed a section of I-10 for several hours.
