Bexar County Sheriff’s Office: Photographer accused of drugging, sexually assaulting woman during photo shoot arrested

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man on charges he drugged and sexually assaulted a woman during a photo shoot.

BCSO says 48-year-old John Lill, a professional photographer, was hired by the victim to take boudoir photos.

When she arrived at his home for the photo session, Lill reportedly told her that no one could wait outside due to the length of time it took to shoot the photos.

The victim tells officials that she was given a glass of wine by Lill and lost consciousness.

She says when she woke up, she believed she had been assaulted by Lill.

The victim called the BCSO Saturday, May 4 to file a report.

Deputies then went to Lill’s home to speak to him but had to wait for him to return.

During questioning, Lill reportedly told investigators that the encounter with the victim was consensual. But the victim denied Lill’s claim and he was arrested on charges of 2nd degree felony sexual assault.

Now the Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone else who may have been victimized by Lill to call them at 210-335-6000.
