Driver killed in crash on Highway 90 in West Bexar County

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A driver has been killed in a crash that tied up traffic on the West side for several hours Monday.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. Monday on Highway 90 at the Highway 211 intersection.

A man driving a box truck failed to stop at the intersection and collided with an oncoming 18-wheeler.

The box truck driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 18-wheeler driver wasn’t injured in the crash.

The names of the drivers involved in the crash haven’t been released.

Investigators are looking into why the box truck driver didn’t stop.
