Eight-year-old boy wounded in drive-by shooting

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – An 8-year-old boy remains hospitalized after a drive-by shooting in the city’s East Side.

The boy was helping his stepfather unload groceries from a car in the driveway of a home on Wild Oak Drive Tuesday afternoon when people in a passing van opened fire.

The child was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound .

Police believe they know who the suspects are and it’s just a matter of time before they arrest them.
