ERCOT issues Weather Watch for Wednesday

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Electric Reliability Council of Texas has issued a Weather Watch for Wednesday.

ERCOT says that they are not asking for conservation, but they are asking Texans to monitor power grid conditions due to high temperatures.

They also indicate that there is the potential for lower than normal power reserves because of maintenance being performed across the grid.

ERCOT says they will continue to monitor conditions closely and will deploy all available tools to manage the grid, continuing a reliability-first approach to operations.
