Fire damages strip mall on San Antonio’s East side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An East side strip mall has been damaged by a fire.
The call came in at around 1:30 A.M. Tuesday from the 1500 block of South Hackberry Street.
Firefighters arrived and were able to knock the fire out quickly.
The fire broke out in a boot repair shop before spreading to the rest of the building.
No injuries have been reported and a dollar amount on the damage hasn’t been determined.
The cause is still under investigation.
