Homeless man expected to be okay after he was hit by a car on San Antonio’s Northeast side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — No charges are expected to be filed against a woman who hit a homeless man with her car Monday night.

It was just before midnight when the man was pushing a shopping cart along the IH-35 access road near Weidner.

A vehicle coming off 35 hit the man. The driver did stop and stayed with the man, rendering aid until help arrived.

The man’s name hasn’t been released but he is at Brooke Army Medical Center and is expected to recover.

Police continue their investigation.
