Man accused of intentionally running over woman in fatal hit-and-run

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – What started out as a hit-and-run case is now a murder investigation.

Police are looking for a  man who’s accused of intentionally running over a woman in the city’s West Side.

Someone called police around 1 this morning to report a a man who was driving recklessly hit a pole on Culebra Road and Memorial Street.

When officers arrived, they found a dead woman on the street at the intersection of North San Joaquin and Rivas Street.

A witness told police he saw a man in a black SUV following a woman who was walking and it appeared that they were arguing.

Officers are asking for your help as they search for the driver and the black SUV with extensive front end damage.
