Police investigating shootout between two vehicles on San Antonio’s North Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police are investigating a shootout between people in two vehicles on San Antonio’s North side.

Officers were called to the Highway 281 access road near Hollywood Park at around 1 A.M. Wednesday.

When one of the vehicles involved in the shooting was stopped, the five occupants began fighting with each other, then with the responding law enforcement officers.

About a dozen officers broke up the altercation. The five people were taken into custody and police have not been able to track down the second vehicle involved in the shootout.

Four law enforcement agencies responded and the investigation continues.
