San Antonio man recovering from gunshot wound to the face

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man is recovering after he was shot in the face early Wednesday morning.

San Antonio police say at around 3:30 A.M., some people were gathered in a room at the Star Inn Hotel at Ingram and Loop 410 when the man walked in and said he had been shot.

One of the people in the room got the man into a vehicle and was driving him to the hospital but he had to pull over and call for help.

EMS responded to a parking lot on Babcock and the victim was brought to University Hospital in critical condition.

The search for the shooter continues.
