San Antonio Police: Man arrested, accused of sexually assaulting teenage family member

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man accused of sexually assaulting a family member is facing multiple charges.

FOX 29 reports Christian Garcia-Cruz, 20, was arrested Sunday after he was charged with three counts of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

Investigators say Garcia-Cruz moved to San Antonio from Mexico two months ago. According to the arrest report, the victim’s mother saw Garcia-Cruz making out with the child and called police. From there, police say the victim had sex with Garcia-Cruz three times, most recently Saturday morning.

Garcia-Cruz initially denied the accusations, but police say he later confirmed that he had had sex with the child three times.

This is a developing story and KTSA News will give more details when possible.
