San Antonio Police Officers to wear pink during Breast Cancer Awareness Month

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department will think pink during the month of October.

Chief William McManus has given approval for officers to show their support for breast cancer awareness by allowing officers to make some modifications to their uniforms.

SAPD officers can wear a pink patch on their uniform or a pink undershirt… or ..both… during October.

Officers are also making donations to the Susan G Koman breast cancer foundation. The Dallas based non-profit that raises money for breast cancer research, education, treatment and health screening services.
