SAPD: Woman shot at San Antonio park. Shooter still on the run

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police are looking for whoever shot a woman who was at a park on the Northeast side early Wednesday morning.

KSAT-12 is reporting that it happened at around 1:45 A.M. at Sunrise Park near Binz-Engleman Road.

The woman and a family member were at the park when someone fired a shot.

The victim was hit one time in the leg. She was brought to the hospital by the family member and is expected to recover.

Since it was dark and the shooter fired from a wooded area, there is no description of them.
SAPD is investigating.
