Second person arrested in connection with double murder in West Bexar County

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A second arrest has been made in connection with a fatal shooting in West Bexar County.

Two people, 34 year old Xavier Alvarez and 38 year old Janell Lopez were shot and killed January 6, in the 6000 block of Calle Fincias.

The shootings took place on property owned by 49 year old Nickolas Lopez. He was arrested last week on charges of Capital Murder-Multiple Persons, Possession with Intent to Deliver, and Tamper with Evidence-Intent Impair.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar announced Monday night that a second man connected to the murder was picked up in Corpus Christi.

Alfred Lopez was taken into custody at a Walmart parking lot and flown back to Bexar County late Monday.
Alfred Lopez has been charged with Capital Murder-Multiple Persons.

Sheriff Salazar says they believe they have captured everybody responsible for the murders.

The investigation continues.
