Three teens shot during chase on San Antonio’s Northeast side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio Police are searching for two people involved in a shooting on the Northeast side.

KSAT-12 reports it happened at around 4:15 Sunday afternoon near a Walmart on Walzem Road.

Officers responded to a shooting in progress call and found two teenaged victims in a White KIA.

One of the victims is in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the chest while the second was grazed in the arm.

The victims were trying to get away from someone chasing them when they crashed into another car, which crashed into a third car.

The drivers of those vehicles were not hurt.

Witnesses tell police that a third shooting victim ran from the scene with a wound to the leg but that person wasn’t located.

Police also searched for the two people who shot the victims. They were told the shooters were driving a silver colored car.

The shooting is still under investigation.
