Cibolo Police: Woman arrested for allegedly shooting her husband

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police in Cibolo have arrested a woman who reportedly shot her husband.

Cibolo PD says they were called to a home on Spring Fawn early Monday morning by a man who reported he had been shot.

When officers arrived, they found the man with a gunshot wound to the arm. He told the officers that his wife shot him.

37 year-old Sonia Hammond was arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Famly Violence).

She was booked at the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center. Bond had not been set as of Monday night and police rerport Hammond was still at the Guadalupe County Jail.

Cibolo Police are continuing their investigation and did not release any information on what led up to the shooting.
