Gunslingers move to 2-0 with overtime win against sharks

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Two weeks into the NAL 2023 regular season, no team has more wins than the San Antonio Gunslingers.

For the second straight week, San Antonio was one point better than their opponent as they knocked off the Jacksonville Sharks in overtime, 64-63 at Vystar Veteran Memorial Arena in Jacksonville.

In their first road game of the season, the Gunslingers overcame two-touchdown deficits on two different occasions to send the game into overtime.

While the Gunslingers are now 2-0, two other teams remain undefeated thus far. The Albany Empire and Fayetteville Mustangs are both 1-0 on the season.

San Antonio travels to Albany on Saturday, April 22 for a game at MVP Arena.
