Northside ISD: Brandeis High School student arrested for bringing gun on campus

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police were called to Brandeis High School in San Antonio Wednesday after it was reported that a student had a gun on campus.

According to a message sent to parents, school administration were told that a student was possibly armed.

Northside ISD police were able to locate the student and found the gun.

No report as to whether or not it was loaded.

Principal Dr. Geri Berger says the student who brought the gun to campus will be “prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law”.

A statement from the school indicates that no threats were made against anyone on campus.

The student’s name hasn’t been released.

Police will continue investigating.
