One driver injured, another detained for suspicion of DWI following crash on San Antonio’s Northwest side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police were called to the scene of a two car crash on San Antonio’s Northwest side.
It was just after 4:30 A.M. Monday when the two vehicles collided on Loop 1604 South near Bandera Road.
The impact forced both vehicles off the road, injuring one of the drivers.
They were brought by ambulance to University Hospital for treatment. The other driver got a ride in the back of a public safety vehicle as well, but it was a police cruiser.
They’re being held for suspicion of DWI.
Police haven’t released any names or ages and the investigation continues.
