Rolling Oaks Mall to transform into Haunted Oaks in October

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) —  A brand new haunted attraction will be possessing a portion of the Rolling Oaks Mall starting next Friday.

Haunted Oaks will be a 6,000 sq. ft. haunted house maze on the first floor of the mall designed from the mind of the San Antonio Zombie Walk and other local event producers.

“This is going to be a wild ride for haunted house and horror fans. We’ve put a ton of work into Haunted Oaks and the actors we have are top-rated performers. We are super excited to share this with San Antonio,” says Joseph Devine, Haunted Oaks Artistic Director and head of the local Zombie Walk.

The haunted house maze will feature gruesome rooms, haunted hallways, creepy corridors and special surprises set to frighten patrons of all ages, Devine said, noting the event is open for people 12 years of age and older.

Guests are encouraged to wear costumes, but event officials said that bags of any sort, props and full masks — which includes a full face of costume makeup — are not allowed. Guests are required to wear face masks for the duration of the event. Event organizers are available for questions.

General admission tickets are $20 and on sale now at hauntedoaks.org.
