Scattered thunderstorms likely much of the week

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The National Weather Service is calling for periodic scattered thunderstorms for the San Antonio area and parts of the Hill Country starting late Monday night through Sunday.

Areas east of the I-35 corridor and the coastal plains could also see scattered thunderstorms.

Weather forecasters consider the greatest threat to be large hail, but an isolated tornado can never be ruled out.
